Profile:
Dr. Yun Zeng received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2016, and was a postdoctoral research fellow in Department of Chemistry, Missouri University of Science & Technology from 2016-2017. Now he is an associate professor in School of Life Science & Technology, Xidian University, and his research topics focus on nanobiotechnology for manufacturing novel micro/nano-platforms used in disease biomedical imaging and molecule recognition for precision therapy. He acted as a PI to carry out the projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Basic Research Plan in Shaanxi Province of China, the Open Funding Project of National Key Laboratory, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and Xidian University Specially Funded Project for Interdisciplinary Exploration, etc, and published many papers in famous journals such as Advanced Science, Biomaterials, Small, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Nanobiotechnology, Materials Today Bio, Nano Research, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Exploration, Journal of Materials Chemistry B, Langmuir, Nanotechnology, etc. He also teaches the undergraduate courses "Protein and Enzyme Engineering", experimental section of "Biochemistry" in School of Life Science and Technology, a common elective course "A Journey Through Scientific Discovery: A Dialogue Between the Past and the Future." in Xidian university, and supervises an undergraduate thesis to achieve excellence, and teaches the postgraduate elective courses "Protein, Enzyme, and Fermentation Engineering", "Cell Culture and Cell Imaging" in graduate school. He is a member of many academic organizations, and a reviewer, young editorial board member or editor of high-level academic journals.
